With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Giacomo on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the age of 82. We know he is at peace and rejoice that he is finally reunited with his one true soul mate, Elvira. Devoted father of Joe Mazza (Lisa). Proud Nonno of Allessandra and Joshua. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe Mazza and Concetta Mazza (Falvo). Beloved brother of Maria Chiarella (late Salvatore). Survived by his sister-in-law Tulia Tong (late Emilio) and Angelica Ficociello (Pasquale) and predeceased by Ilma Marrone (late Mimmo), Leonilde Fusco (late Pasquale), Amelia Ficociello (late Vincenzino), Maria Merolla (late Antonio). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to Extendicare VanDaele would be appreciated by the family.
