Clarence was a quiet & observant man. He was always ready with a comment to make everyone chuckle. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who truly knew him.
Clarence was a loving and devoted friend to his partner in crime, Mary McWatters for many years (predeceased October 2014.) He was a proud grandfather to Kelsey McLean and dear father figure and friend to Colleen, Bob, and Tom McLean. He will be lovingly remembered by the McLean and McWatters families.
We would like to thank the staff of the F.J. Davey home, specifically the care staff of Cedar Grove level 3 and the activities department for making Clarence feel loved and cared for during the last three years of his life. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Sault Area Hospital for their kindness and compassion during the last days of Clarence’s life.
Clarence will be interred at Mountain Maple Cemetery with his loving parents, on St Joseph’s Island, where he recalled so many wonderful memories.
Memorial donations can be made to ARCH. A private family service will be held. In tribute to Clarence, please give one act of kindness to someone just because you can, as that is who Clarence was, “A very kind man”. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
