Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Philip McCormick and best friend of the late Robert McKendrick. Loving mother of Dan Sayers (Carol), Laura Robinson (Harry), late Daryle, Darcey (Brenda), late baby girl McCormick, Lisa McCormick (Mike) and the late Libby McCormick. Predeceased by her parents Boniface and Lily Sayers. Cherished grandmother of Dan Jr., Trap, Amy (Chance), Philip, Lindsay, Lisa, Mary Jane, Mallory, Sam, Darcey Jr., and Justin. Great grandmother of 22 and great great grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Laura, late Ron, Kenneth, Arla and the late Roxanne. Olive will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews as well by the many organizations she volunteered for and the many friends she made through the years in the community. At Olive’s request, a private family service has taken place. A celebration of Olive’s life will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Batchewana First Nation Learning Centre (15 Jean Street) from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
