Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View surrounded by her daughters on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife to the late Kenneth Hugh McHardy. Loving mother of the late Cynthia, Shari-Ann (Shawn Raiman), Patricia Jones (Dale MacArthur) and the late Christina Marie. Very proud grandmother of Kylie (Ryan Nance), Stephanie and Spencer. Beloved daughter of the late Quinto and Nicoletta DiLabio and daughter-in-law of the late Hugh and Peg McHardy. Dear sister of Amedeo (Joanne), John (Suzanne) and Joe (Abby). Sister-in-law of Duncan (late Wynne), and the late Jim (Valerie). Emma will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and she was cherished deeply by the son she never had, Todd Bradley.
She was a petite yet powerful woman with a vibrant personality. As an Italian immigrant from Bucchianico, Italy, she was very proud of her heritage and instilled these roots within her family. Emma dedicated more than 40 years to the craft of hairstyling, specializing in up-do styles. Emma cherished her moments spent playing cards with close friends and enjoyed cribbage games with Ken.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 11 am to 12 pm. A graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following the visitation. You may also go to www.funeraweb.tv and select Emma's name to view the visitation at 10:50 am and the graveside service online starting at 12:30 pm. The service can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.
