McHARDY, James 'Jim'

Passed away suddenly at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa on Sunday April 30, 2017 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Val (nee West) McHardy for 43 years. Proud father of Amanda Huff (James), Dustin McHardy (Jackie) and Jody Tait (Jeff). Cherished papa of Trista, Joe, Wesley, Carter, Olivia and Breya. Devoted son of Hugh and Peg McHardy. Dear brother of Duncan McHardy (Wynne) and Ken McHardy (Emma). Dear son-in-law of the late Jim and Vivi West. Brother-in-law of Cheryl West, Gaye Grant (Gary), Cindy Bumstead (late Brian). Jim will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces, nephews and many friends. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #429, Wawa on Friday May 5, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a tribute to Jim beginning at 2:00 p.m. Cremation at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste.
