(1932 – 2017) – In his 85th year passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his family at his side on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Beloved husband and best friend of Reta for 65 years. Loving son of the late Harry and the late Annie McLean of Sylvan Valley. Loving father of James McLean (Kathy), Julie Bouwmeester (Ralph) and the late baby John Robert. Proud grandfather of Danielle McLean, James McLean (Lisa), Scott Bouwmeester (Robyn), Stephen Bouwmeester (Stephanie) and Lindsay Partridge (Curtis). Great grandfather of Jameson McLean, Chelsea and Riley Bouwmeester and Madison Partridge. Brother of the late Ernie McLean (late Marjorie), Donald McLean (Doreen), Aileen Rickard (late Ivor) and Thomas McLean (Beverly). Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, April 8, 2017 between 12 am and 1:30 pm. Memorial service in the chapel at 2 pm.
