66 years, died peacefully at home on October 2, 2017 with his former wife, Colleen Ewing, at his side. Survived by his daughter Mary Colleen McMillan of Bramalae, his mother, Eilleen (nee Mathewson) McMillan-R. Hoy. Remembered by his siblings, Sharon Whalen (Dwyer), Cathy Lee Hallaert (Dirk), Melvin McMillan (Brenda), Connie Spooner (Perry) and Wayne McMillan. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Linda Lundhill, Barry "Bear" Fraser, Dave May, John Cie, Ted Hallin, Anne and Leo Young, all of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by his infant son, Leonard David McMillan and his father, Alfred McMillan. He worked many years as a respected prison guard in Kingston, Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie. 

A memorial will take on Saturday October, 14 2017 at The Knights of Columbus Senior's building, 623 Bay St. in the common room from 2 - 7 p.m.. Rev.
