Peacefully at St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the age of 62.
Caring father of Gabriel Oskaboose-Eccleston (Paige) and Emily Oskaboose-Meawasige. Dear brother of Darlene (Brian), Mike (Diane), Allen (Donna), Brenda, Gerald (Nicole), James (Lori), Kim (Mike), Myra, Nicole, and Charlie. Bill will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his cats Jiji and Haku and his dog KC.
Bill will be remembered for his sense of humour and his bold personality. He loved sports, especially wrestling and football. He was a natural entertainer. His passion was bringing sports to the community which he did through Nimki Wajiw Wrestling. Bill was also known in the community as Chili Billy from his radio days and chili competitions and Skoville from his wrestling promotion.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Serpent River Lifestyle Centre on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 3pm until time of service on Wednesday, April 30 at 11 am. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
