Passed away with grace and dignity surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the age of 92 at Extendicare Van Daele. Beloved wife and best friend for over 61 years to the late Antoine (Tony). Loving mother of Carole Strachan (late Peter), Bernice Kuisma (Kari), Normand (Anna), Colette Michel-Fall (Richard) and Mark (Teresa). Proud Memére of Michael (Marcy), Lynda (Bill), Derek (Heather), Michele (Michael), Anthea (Rick), Sara (Dan), Chanel (Rob), Cameron, Sarah (Lucas) and Justine (Dave). Great Memére of Riely, Jared, Alyssa, Jayden, Emily, Lucas, Chloe, Benjamin, Wyatt, Weston and Evan. Dear sister of Lucille Gallien (late Alban), Joe Forest (late Jeannette)(Germain Labelle), Normand Forest (Marie-Paul), Agnes Noel (late Leonard) and predeceased by Gabriel Forest (Jacqueline), Noella Vincent (late Real) and Raiyna Forest. Evelyn will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11 am. Rev. Daniele Muscolino officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Terry Fox Foundation or the Extendicare VanDaele Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
