Predeceased by his parents Garnet Middaugh and Lesley Hendry. Beloved son-in-law of Robert and Alice Labbe. At an early age Terry was introduced to the bush and began his love hate relationship with it. He found peace in the bush but it took him away from his family. I always said that the bush was in his heart and no matter how hard he tried to stay out of it he couldn’t. He was passionate about many things. His family, his animals, the bush and his bikes. His “garage” became a popular meeting place for his friends and bike enthusiasts. Always willing to give a hand or advise on how to fix their bikes if needed.
To put into words what kind of man Gub was would simply be impossible. He was many things to many people. Of those things he was most known for being a fearless biker, protective friend, patient (not always) teacher, one crazy bushman, an operator extraordinaire and a big blue eyed viking. A man who truly lived like he could never die. A man who will continue to live on through the many lessons, long talks and countless friends he’s met along his very decorated life. If you knew Gub you know he said what he thought and did what he wanted. He never hid who he was and if he didn’t like you there is probably a good reason. His loss will be greatly felt by his close family, friends and his many in-laws & Outlaws. Black and White Forever!
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place in the spring. Memorial contributions to Lupus Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
