(1926-2016) – With sadness, the family of William “Bill” Moons announce his passing on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Much loved husband of Catherine for 62 years. Dear father of Kathleen Howard (Craig), Deb Allward (Scott) and Bill (Shirley). Proud Opa of Kyle (Nicole), Todd (Shannon) and Mary Allward, Jane (Chris) and Dean Howard, Brian and Barbara Moons. Bill emigrated from Holland in 1951. He leaves behind a sister (Rie) and many nieces and nephews in Gouda, Holland as well as his many extended family members in Canada. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and the life he built with Catherine in Canada. A funeral mass will take place at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Orangeville, Ontario on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
