May 8, 1947 – October 4, 2024
It is with great sadness that we share the news of our mother’s unexpected but peaceful passing, surrounded by her loving family, at NSHN-Blind River, age 77. Min is joining her mom and dad, Reginald “Tomate” and Berthe Blondeau and her sister Shirley. She will be reunited with the love of her life Claude Moranville as well as close friends Peggy, Claire and Lillian. Loving and caring mother of Lise (Ken Degagne), Giselle and Monique (Russ Hallett). The best Memere of Meghann (John), Tanisha (James), Hannah, Hunter (Taylor) and Hailey (Zach). Cherished great grandmother of Alex, Josh, Hudson, Dallas and Harlow. Fondly remembered by her brother Don Blondeau and sister Claudette Dubois. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Min worked hard and played hard her whole life. She loved her family and camping with the girls. She always had cold beer in the fridge.
We would like to believe she is up there looking for Elvis so he can sing her favorite song… Don’t Cry Daddy.
The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and the staff at NSNH-Blind River for taking such good care of our mother during her final hours.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass service at St. James the Greater Parish, 44 Lakeside Avenue, Blind River on Friday, October 11, 2024, beginning at 1pm. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Father Clarence officiating. Light luncheon to follow.
