January 3, 1947 - May 2, 2025. It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Doreen with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Daughter of the late Leo and Lucy Pichette. Loving wife of Gordon for over 60 years. Predeceased by her eldest son Michael. She will be dearly missed by her children Lucille Larue (Michel) and Leo (Suzanne). "Nana" and "Gramma" of Amanda Larue, Thomas Larue, Nathan Morin and Jenna Morin. Great Nana of Leo Larue. She was loved by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends on both sides.
Doreen will be fondly remembered for her love of the outdoors. She loved the sun, hunting, fishing, being in nature and tending to her garden. She spent countless hours of her spare time sewing and quilting where she particularly enjoyed making clothing for children in Africa. She loved with her whole heart, and family was everything to her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and doctors on 3C at the Sault Area Hospital, especially Shannon and Brianna for their care and compassion.
"Love you more"
