MORPHY, Kenneth Carl

(February 5, 1928 – August 31, 2016) - Passed away quietly at the F.J. Davey Home with family by his side, at the age of 88. Carl leaves behind his beloved and loving wife Margaret (nee Clayton). Born in Pakenham, Ontario, he is the son of the late Wilbert and Annie Morphy. Predeceased by his siblings: Marjorie Monette, Keith Morphy and  Phyllis Hutchison. Father of Kenneth, Donna Poll (Daryll) and Debbie of Smith Falls, Ontario. For almost 50 years, Carl was the much loved stepfather of Brian Dunn (Robert Craggs) of Toronto, Eddie Dunn (Jeanne) and Kathleen Portelli (Louis). Cherished grandfather of Brian and Craig Dunn, Joanne McNally (Mike), Jessica Ward (Mike), Lisa Portelli (Craig Cartmill), Angela and Ryan Poll.  He leaves behind several great grandchildren. Carl thoroughly enjoyed his many years living at Pumpkin Point with his wife Marg.  He loved tinkering with his tractor, stoking the fire and watching the loons on Lake George. In keeping with Carl’s wishes, a private service will be held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
