It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Jean Motruk at the age of 76. Her long, courageous and epic battle against cancer is now over and she is no longer in pain. She passed peacefully February 17th, 2025, at ARCH, where she spent her final days surrounded by family and friends.

Cherished Momma of Chris Clément (Jody-Leah) and Melissa Clément. Adoring Nana of Matthew, Jakub, Cole and Maxxime Clément, Steven Healey, Brooklynn Clement and Brianna Bailey (Grenville) and GG to 6 Great Grand Kids.

Normas is Pre-deceased by her parents John and Margaret Motruk. Her late brother John Motruk (Denise) late brother Andrew Motruk (Abby). She is survived by her big little brother William Motruk. She will be reunited with her dog Lulubelle, who passed away last year

During the last 20 football seasons you could find her at the field cheering from the bleachers rooting for her favourite players, her boys. She will also be remembered for bringing her famous, Nana Corn to the games and handing out bags of caramel covered popcorn. She was a Rockstar, drumming along with her knitting needles in an iconic video circulating on social media to one of her favourite songs by Metallica.

Norma will forever be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Heather Pelky and Elaine Payette and Natalie Payette-Chevrier for their friendship and support over many many years. 

Norma was one of the most generous and helpful people you'd ever want to meet. She loved knitting her famous dishcloths and gifting them to family and friends. 

Our family would like to say thank you to Dr Fratesi, Dr Spadafora, Dr Hill, Dr. Carlson and the many nurses and staff at SAH Cancer Clinic. (A special thank you to Sue) Alistair Rasaiah (Allison) and Chavelah at Rasaiah Pharmacy, your care and compassion for her over the years is greatly appreciated. Dr Hollingsworth at Superior Family Health Team, the way in which you cared for her will never be forgotten, you're an amazing person, with an exceptional staff. Thank you also to the staff at ARCH hospice for their care and support during Norma's final days.
