Ray was the proud grandfather of 8 wonderful grandchildren; Holly, Brandon (Kelly), Matthew (Alicia), Nicole, Analysha (Dan), Tyler (Taylor), Jamie-Lynn (Austin), Noah (Rose) & 7 beautiful great-grandchildren Alexandra, Ryker, Ethan, Sophie, Colton, Luca & Kasey.

Ray will forever be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ray was an avid outdoorsman and a hard-working man. He was a beautiful carpenter and spent many hours in his workshop at Anjigami Lake where he spent 22 years after retiring from Algoma steel (Ore). Ray often spoke of logging and surveying & his time spent in Michipicoten Harbour. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed reading a good book. He inspired a love for hockey, fishing & hunting in his family and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Ray battled many medical issues in his 95 years, and had his family convinced he was invincible. His strength and bravery will never be forgotten.
“Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal. Love leaves a memory that no one can steal.”
