In loving memory of William Nicholson “Billy”. Billy will be remembered for his connection to nature which inspired his artistic talent. Billy’s story is one of perseverance, love and laughter. Billy was born in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and lived in Red Rock on the water for most of his life. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. Billy was a gifted artist and a meticulous builder. He loved working outdoors alongside his wife Sharon, tending to the many perennial gardens on their property.
Billy was the beloved husband and best friend of Sharon Corcoran. He will be fondly remembered by his daughter Eve Nicholson and son Ryan Nicholson. He will be missed by his grandchildren Jessie,Jaydah (Nick) and Kodiak.
Beloved son of late Morris and Margaret “Peggy” Nicholson. Brother of Susan Hemsworth (Greg), Michael Nicholson (Donna), the late Terry Nicholson (Veronica) and Cheryl Carlucci (Ron).
Son-in-law to Lynn Corcoran (late Roberta). Brother-in-law of Paul Corcoran (Melissa), Susan Corcoran (David) and Jim Corcoran (Jane). A cherished Uncle to many nieces & nephews.
Sharon would like to thank Dr.Nikki Apostle, Dr. Jeff Jonusaitis and Marsha RPN, Dan RN from Paramed, Ontario Health at Home, staff at Medigas, Loblaws Pharmacy (Romes), Soo Medical Services and everyone that has supported us on this journey.
At the request of Billy there will be no service. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Billy’s honour can be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (CPFF) or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.
