Passed away peacefully at Cedarwood Lodge with family by his side on June 13, 2016 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Julia. Beloved husband of Helen O’Flynn for 55 years. Caring father of Michael and Sheila. Proud Papa of Kaelan and Tristan. Brother of the late Rena Ryan (late Paddy), Father John O’Flynn of Colorado. Brother-in-law of Walter Borowicz. Uncle of Ann McGuinness (Tom), Sheila Hussain (Hidi), Geraldine Ryan (Ross), Celine Bentley (Allen), Aidan (Olive), Melanie Sibenik (Derek), and Christine Perlini (Marty). Thomas will be missed by many great grand nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thomas was a proud teacher in Sault Ste. Marie for 35 years. He also was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. A special thank you to Dr. McLean and the staff at Cedarwood Lodge for their amazing care and compassion. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Friends are invited to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm. Funeral service to be held in the chapel at 3 pm with Rev.
