With broken hearts the family of Joseph Patreau “Joe” announce his sudden passing at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 . Joe was survived by his children Mathew (Dawn), Shane (Peggy), Wendy-Jo (Scott), his grandchildren Alexandra, Abegail, Gracie, Leah, Austin, Cole, Connor and Jailyn, his siblings John Buie (Mary), Margaret Smith (Bill), Cathy King (Doug) also his nieces and nephews, Annette, Pauline, Jeff, Brad, John, Steve, Neil, Robert, Jennifer and cherished great nieces and nephews. Joe will also be greatly missed by friends and numerous amounts of people whose lives he has touched, particularly those involved in the Sault Amateur Wrestling Club, the VFW Euchre gang. He lived life to the fullest, enjoying all his favourite things, travelling, biking, swimming and his passions included photography and antiquing. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 11 am until 1 pm. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke would be appreciated.
