Cherished uncle and friend, well known for his one-of-a-kind personality, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. Born on December 3, 1949, in Thessalon, Ontario, Bob lived a life that provided lasting memories for those that knew him well. Bob had a passion for fast trucks, gardening and loved enjoying warm beer and loud rock with friends. He is predeceased by his father Garland Patterson and mother Mary Patterson. Bob will be remembered fondly by his honorary daughter, Becky Jackson who provided love, care and support to him throughout the years. He will live on in the hearts of his nieces, Christie, Jessie and Hollie who will forever remember him as 'Uncle Nobby' and best friend to their mom, Heather. A heartfelt thank you to his dear friend Roger Rietkoetter for his loyalty, care and companionship to Bob during the past few decades. Bob always looked forward to his visits and outings which provided him the best possible quality of life during his time at Extendicare Maple View. Words can't express our thanks to all the nurses and staff at Maple View for your kind-heartedness and support for Bob over the years. Bob's legacy lives on in the Soo and the many lives he touched over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Maple View Residents Council would be greatly appreciated.
