PINNELL, Lowell 'Slim'

With great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved father Lowell (Slim) Pinnell at the age of 76.  Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Pinnell for 17 years.  Beloved companion of Edna Dimma for 37 years.  He will be sadly missed by his children Steven, David, Wendy (Bruno), Judy and Lesley.  He will also be missed by Edna’s children Billy (Louise), Marilyn (Mark) and Doug.  He leaves behind his 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Pearl Pinnell.  He is survived by his brothers Wayne (Rosemary), Myron (Betty Ann), Ross (Darlene), Mirt (Cathy) and several nieces and nephews.  As per Lowell’s wishes, a private graveside service has been held.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A big thank you to all of Dad’s friends and our friends for their support through this difficult time.  Also, a big thank you to the doctors who were able to give dad to us for a little while longer.  To the amazing nurses in ICU for the care and compassion they showed dad.  A real big thank you to Kathleen O’Brien for all her help through this very difficult time.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).
