Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the age of 82.
Predeceased by his parents William Bruce Plummer and Gladys Haynes. Loving husband of Priscilla Plummer. Devoted father of William (Melissa) of Florida and Ian (Alma) of Germany. Cherished grandpa of Nolan, Gavin, Madelyn, Katelyn, Vivienne, Juliette and Leila. Robin is also predeceased by his brother Richard of British Columbia. Proud big brother to George and Kellie of Streetsville. Grumpy to his furry grands late Dave, Bella, Barney, Chloe and Ariel. Robin will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Robin was a kind and gentle person who was very proud of his British and Canadian background. He had a wonderful sense of humour, loved his music, enjoyed the outdoors, his books and Football “Soccer”.
Robin was a proud Veteran of the Royal Canadian Armed Forces for 33 years. Retiring as Warrant Officer. He was a member of the Signal Corps, the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Logistics Branch. He then became an adored School Bus Driver in Sault Ste. Marie for 10 years.
Family and Friends are welcome for a visitation at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Service to follow at 11am. Cremation to take place. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 25 would be appreciated.
