Passed peacefully at Golden Birches on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the age of 92 with family at her side.
Loving wife of the late Fian Rainville. Devoted mother of Gerard (Andrea), Rick (Linda), Dave (Rosanna), Diane (late Dave Armstrong) the late Susanne Rainville and Rachel Vigneault (Greg). Proud Memere of Tabatha (Andre), Ryan (Caitlin), Steven, Stacy (Greg), Jeff (Amanda), Darren (Kaitlin) and Allison. Great Memere of Alexandre, Nicolas, Jenna, Brooklyn, Emily, Kristina, Jessica, Julia, Cameron, Katelyn, Bianca, Emilia, Francis, Carson and Cohen. Dear sister of Jacqueline Dionne (late John) and predeceased by 18 siblings. Sister-in-law of Marie Paule (Toots), aunt of Paula and Dan (Micheline) Savard and great aunt of Madison.
Dorilla was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother. She adored children. Dorilla will be remembered for her good humour and ability to get along with everyone. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Menard Funeral Home (Corner of Lakeside Ave. and Centre St., Blind River) on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from Paroisse Ste. Famille on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11 am. Fr. Clarence Dinesh officiating. Interment at Hillside Cemetery will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions to the NSHN Foundation Long Term Care (Golden Birches) would be greatly appreciated.
