The family of Laura Rankin are sad to announce her peaceful passing at home after a long illness at the age of 64.
Loving wife of Robert Rankin for 28 years. Proud mother of Kelly and the late Joseph. Adoring grandmother of Elizabeth, Anya, Emily, Grayson and Elyas. Daughter to James See (Terry) and Lila See (nee Duggan). Laura will be missed by her siblings David, late Mitchell, Bill (Sue), Marcy, Chris (LeeAnn), and Jennifer (Shaun). Sister-in-law of Heather Armstrong and Keith Rankin. She was loved by many and will be missed and remembered by innumerable family members and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Barbeau, Dr. Apostle, the Palliative Care Team, SAH staff, Para Med and CarePartners for their immense support. Special thank you to Sierra for going above and beyond.
As per Laura’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held on June 14, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm at 667 Second Line West, SSM.
