It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of "Candy" at the age 49.
She was the daughter to Linda Graham and William Reid. Loving mother of Kailei Abukar (Paul), the late Courtney Reid, Russell Smith, Chelsea Smith and Sonny Reid. Proud grandmother of Arabella Abukar and Marley Blackmore. She leaves behind her cherished sister Brandy Moorehouse (Marc Cheff). She will be missed by her dog Jax and her cat.
Our mother will be fondly remembered for her kind heart and selfless nature. She loved to get dressed up for any occasion. She was an excellent cook and we will never forget the sound of her voice.
A Celebration of Life in Candy's honour will be announced at a later date and will take place in British Columbia amongst her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or the C.M.H.A. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
