(August 25th, 1950 – June 23rd, 2016) Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at her residence with loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Ray Rivard, Loving mother of Mathew McLean (Kayla). Cherished grandmother of Hayley, Eli, Alexie and Atticus. Angel, caregiver and best friend Lauren Ring. Loving daughter of John Alan McLean (predeceased and Gwen McLean. Dear sister of David Mclean (wife Carol), Jamie McLean (wife Shelly), Keith McLean, John McLean, Judy Laframbois and Amy Doussept (husband Robbie). Special aunt to Daniel, Natalie, Pam, Megan, Jeremy, Alyssa and Jack.
Susan loved the Lord and she loved life, living it to the fullest on a daily basis. She lived Christ’s commandments to love God and love her neighbour. Sue will be remembered for her wonderful smile that she generously shared with everyone. She was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. She had a passion for motorcycles and a devotion to her loving family.
A celebration of Susan’s Life will be held in the Valleyview Community Church, 2891 Martin Road, Blezard Valley Sunday, July 10th, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. with a reception to follow. Friends may gather at the church after 3:30 P.M. Sunday July 10th, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation Chemotherapy Program would be appreciated.
