SECORD, Dr. Geoffrey VanCortlandt

(1922-2017) – Passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of Joan. Loving and supportive father to Sara Trotter, Susan Harnden (Eric), Christopher Appleton (Kelly Anne) and the late Hilary McKinley. Proud Grandpa of the late Tara, Adam, E.J., Ryan, Meghan, Bryn, Taylor, Erin, Dane, Kaitlyn, Michael, and Liam. Great Grandpa of Hilary Anne, Sarah, Alex, Julia, and Brooklyn. Geoff was a WWII veteran serving his country with pride. It was his time spent in service that led Geoff to become a medical doctor. He touched many lives throughout the years and although he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on within our hearts. A private celebration of his life will be held with family.
