Peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Donna. Special friend of Ellen. Loving father of Alex Jr. (Debbie) and Vanessa Jones (late Glen). Cherished papa of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Isaac and Harriet. Dear brother of Mary Ann Manitowabi (Peter), Godfrey (Virginia), late Gordon Shawanda, late Doris Shawanda and late Marjorie Rose Shawanda. Also Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. – 705-759-2522) Tuesday October 31, 2017 from 5 to 9 pm.
