SMITH, Jack

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jack on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Maple View in his 88th year.  Beloved husband of the late Shirley.  Loving father of Sharon French (Larry)(late Bud), Nancy Gray (Glenn), Janet Burns (Reginald), Paul Smith (Renee) and Kelly Smith (Suzie).  Cherished grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather of many.  Son of the late Ernest and Ada Smith.  Brother of late Ron (late Noreen), Richard (late Florence), Roland (Gert), Roy, Roger (Bonnie), Randy (late Linda), late Marlene McLean (late Gerry), Dorothy Fleury (Bill), Linda Mitchell (Bob), Debbie Emmons and Faye Harkness (Bruce).  Jack will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 1 pm until 3 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Jim Moffatt officiating.  Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Special thanks to all the girls at Maple View, Echo Bay who took such good care of Smilin’ Jack.
