SOULIERE, John Paul

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Paul Souliere surrounded by his loved ones on March 30th, 2018 at 3:00pm at the Ottawa General Hospital after a hard fight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Beloved husband of Lynne Souliere, adored father of James Souliere (Steph), Daniel Souliere (Katie) Carrie Keeling (Matt), cherished Grandpa to Audrey, William, Leo and Charlotte Souliere. Devoted brother to Louis Souliere (Georgeanne), Laura Weir (Ian) Christine Souliere (Late Gaston Gagnon), Cathy McKinney (Ted), brother in law and friend to Fred Pelletier (Patricia Daynard), Ken Pelletier (Alexis Hart) and the late Susan Atkinson (Rick). Beloved son of the late Rita and Paul Souliere. John will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, family, neighbours, and colleagues. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Carolyn Faught and her team for being there every step of the way along with all of the nursing staff on the 6th floor of Hematology. Thursday April 5, 2018 after 1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in John’s name can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Canadian Blood Services or to the Canada Africa Community Health Alliance (CACHA).
