It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marsha at Golden Birches on February 24th, 2016. Marsha was in her 62nd year. Beloved Mother of Stephany of Blind River, Gary of Mississauga First Nation and Sheilah of Mississauga First Nation. Special Grandma to Bretton, Zoie, Jessaka, Hannah, and Aecious, and Great Grand Mother of Madison. Dear daughter of the late Frank Sayers and the late Christine Sayers (nee Bolton) of Iron Bridge. Dear sister of Don Nigawina of Sauble Beach, On, Robert Sayers (Elizabeth) of Sowerby, On and James Sayers of Mississauga First Nation, and the late Richard Sayers (Phyllis) of Iron Bridge, the late Sophie Fahrer (Bud) of Thessalon, the late Jean Sayers of Cape Bretton, Nova Scotia, and the late Mary Langdon (Bob) of Nairn Centre. Lifelong friend to the late ex-husband Gary Stevens and Beloved friend of the late John Young of Elliot Lake. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Mississauga First Nation Hall on Monday February 29, 2016 from 12noon. Funeral service at the Mississauga First Nation Hall on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 11am, followed by cremation. A special thanks to the Blind River District Health Centre caregiving staff for the wonderful care given to our Mom, Marsha. Donations to Lupus Foundation would be gratefully accepted.
