May 9, 1943 - February 22, 2025
The world lost an incredible lady and heaven gained an angel. Judy was reunited with the love of her life, Jim, who passed in 2012. Judy was a kind and loving soul who brought joy and help wherever she could.
Judy was a long-time member of the United Church Women in Thessalon, where she created many wonderful memories and friendships. Her professional life saw her dedicated to the CIBC for many years until her retirement, after which she opened a small craft store, fulfilling a personal passion.
Known for her big smile and giving spirit, Judy cherished her time with family and friends. Above all, her greatest joy came from the moments she spent with her eight grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Judy leaves behind her three children; Tim Stevenson (Laurie), Arla Luepkes (Mike) and Sue Shaw (Richard). Grandmother of Samantha Stevenson, Adam Stevenson (Rachel), Madison McCaig (Mitch), Darcee McCaig (David), Reilly Evoy (Peter), Keegan Evoy (Taylor), Conor Evoy (Lydia) and Michael Shaw (Emerald). Great grandmother of Kennedy, Parker, Emory, Jacob, Iris and Quinn.
Judy's legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Our family is forever grateful for the love and care she received over the past 5 years in Birch 1 of the Davey Home. They took care of her and loved her as their own. Too many to name, but a huge thank you and much love to all, with special thanks to Heather, Cheryl, Mandy, Tanya, Jazz and Jodi. Special thank you to Sandra Piccolo for her love and support.
Judy will be laid to rest in a private ceremony this spring.

I am not there
Do not stand on my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle Autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush.
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
