Surrounded by family and friends, Gerald passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 69. Reunited with his beloved wife and soulmate the late Beverley. Dear father of Crystal Pine. Special step-father of Michelle Serafin (Rick), Dan Parker (Donna) and Steven Walker (Julie). Dear Papa of Shayla, Jaycee, Shane, Shea, Brandyn, Austin and Ruby. Dear son of the late Bernadine and Louis Syrette. Loved brother of Bernard (Bev), late Herman, David, Patsy (Wes), late Tony (Sharon), Kit (Gary), Lorraine, late Joe (Loah), Noel and Chris (Sheryl). Brother-in-law of Darlene Biron (John). Special Godfather of Scott, Valene and Cody. Cherished Uncle Gerald, of many nieces and nephews. Gerald will be sadly missed by his longtime friend Terry, and his very good friends Stacey, Lavina, Vivian and Freddy. He also leaves behind his furry friend Bandit. A special thank you to the staff that cared for him at the Sault Area Hospital on 2C and 3rd floor. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Service to be held in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev.
