SZCZEPANIK, John Paul

Passed away tragically on Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at the age of 45 and thankfully recovered by a family of unsuspecting but most appreciated people on May 12th, 2017. Dear husband of Rachelle Szczepanik and step-father of Jesse and Julie Cullen.  Loving step-grandfather of Mia Cullen.  Most loved son of Terrie (Szczepanik) Bye, Walter Szczepanik and Robert Bye.  Beloved brother of Brian Szczepenik (Nicole) of Windsor and Hayley Edwards (Jay) of LaSalle, Ontario.  Loving Uncle of Ryan and Mitchell Charlebois, Kayla Murray (Brent), Sara and Josh Evon and Robin and Mathew Edwards.  Dear son-in-law of Diane and the late Bill Cullen.  John will be sadly missed by Aunts and Uncles Krystyna Szczepanik, Grant and Gladys Fisher, Sandra and the late Norman Ferguson, Ian and Kathy Fisher, also many cousins. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 6 – 9 pm. Memorial service held from the chapel on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. John’s family would like to express their most sincere thanks to all the many agencies involved in the searches to find him and especially to Inspector Monique Rollin, Sault Ste. Marie Police Services who orchestrated the most intensive group of dedicated searchers, both Canadian and American, ever assembled in our area. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Sault Ste.
