Surrounded by her loved ones, peacefully left to be with her Lord on Nov.8, 2016. Aune was born Mar. 10, 1929, in Savonranta, Finland. Survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Onni. Loving mother of Kirsti (late Wayne) Watson, Marja Voloshin, Pertti (Ginette), Ossi, Lea (Nick) Tassone, Tuula (Dan) Jodoin. Beloved mummo to Eric (Jennifer), Liisa, Joseph, Nicholas, Risto, Eero, Kaila, Hanna and greatgrandmother of Cienna. Dear sister of Elli, Sylvi, Toimi (Irma), Leo, Aila, Eila and the late Pentti (Kaisa) all of Finland. Aune is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Anni Karvinen and Jenny Patrakka of the Sault, and Kaija Salminen of Finland. A private service led by Pastor Rudy Hyvarinen will be held. The family wishes to thank the caring staff and volunteers at Kotitalo, Dr. Mary Wilson, home care nurse Ivy Adam and especially the compassionate staff and volunteers at ARCH.
