It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Gary at the age of 77.
Loving son to the late Eileen and Edward Thomas. Beloved father of Tina (Pat McMahon), Suzanne Olson (Kevin), Lisa Willet (Jason), Gary (Jalicia) and Richard. Proud grandfather of Stephanie, Brendan, Christopher, Keirra, Maddison, Sophia and "Lil' Man" Gary Jr. His loss will be felt by his crew in Blind River (Dave, Steve and Bruce) and many other friends and family.
Gary was a patient person who enjoyed golfing, hockey and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a proud O.P.P. officer that served the community for over 30 years.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Paramedics, O.P.P., and the staff at Arthur Funeral Home for their kindness and support.
As per Gary's request friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to A.R.C.H. or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
