We are heartbroken to announce the death of Sarah on Friday, January 15, 2021. Surrounded by her family in her home and fortified by the Rites of the Church, Sarah passed quietly into Eternal Life. Beloved wife of Brian. Devoted mother of Andrea Caroffino (Dave) and Mark Trudeau (Kim). Doting Gigi and Granny of Isla, Kyle, Adeline, Graham, and Woodsley. Daughter of the late James and Mae Currie. Treasured sister to Maureen DeJong (Joe) and Fr. Hamish Currie. Sister–in-law to Karen, Linda, Patricia, John (Megan) and David. Precious cousin and special friend to Jim and Barb Currie. Sarah leaves behind dear cousins (Jean Scott, Betty Goodall (Bill)) and others in Canada and Scotland, as well as many faithful friends and coworkers. Sarah lived a selfless life, committed to her family and their well-being. A special thank you to the nurses of Bayshore and CBI home care for your compassion and kindness to Sarah and her family. We will announce the date of her funeral to be celebrated at Precious Blood Cathedral once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. If you choose to remember Sarah through a memorial donation, please consider The Journey (Precious Blood Cathedral) or Tracy’s Dream. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
Eternal rest grant unto her o Lord.
