It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of John. Loving husband of Georgette (nee Lavalle). Cherished father of Ken (Linda), Anthony (Susan), and Holly. Special grandfather (Papa) to Matthew (Sara), Jamie-Lynn (Benn), Stacy (Zach), and Daniel (Jenn). Son of the late Adrianus and Janneke. Dear brother of Anthony (Elisabeth), Adrian (Aria) and Tryntje (late Reneé), Predeceased by Corneles (Ina) and William. Will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. John was the former director of The Ken Brown Recovery Home. He selflessly helped many people who suffered from the effects of addiction. He was a devoted and active member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. John was a very spiritual man who was loved by many and who never lost his zest for life. At John’s request a private family service was held at Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
