Surrounded by her greatest joy, her children, on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the age of 73.
Adored and deeply devoted Mother to Emily Veilleux, Michelle Veilleux (Chris Jackson), Christopher Veilleux and Kevin Veilleux (Gabriella Klosak). Loving and cherished grandmother to Hayden and Hartley Veilleux-Klosak. Beloved and dear sister to Ken Pister (Susan) and Don Pister (Colleen McEachern) of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear Aunt to Rebecca Pister (Herman Eckerle), Michael Pister (Kristen), Jonathan Pister (Julia) David Pister (Jennifer) and Andrew Pister (Deanna). Treasured Great Aunt to Eden, Reeve, Ava, Wyatt, William and Mason. Daughter of the late Evelyn and Ronald Pister. Fondly remembered by her nearest and dearest friends and extended family.
Karen’s abundance of love, kindness and generosity of spirit, warm smile and sense of humour will be missed, and never forgotten.
Karen showed tremendous grit, strength, determination and grace in her brief battle with cancer. The family would like to thank the incredible health care teams at St. Joseph’s hospital in Hamilton, Grand River Cancer Care Clinic in Kitchener, Guelph General Hospital, Bayshore and Hospice Wellington for their care and compassion.
