We are saddened to announce that Jarmo Vilhunen, 71, lost his battle with cancer on July 27th, 2017.
He died peacefully surrounded by his family. He is missed deeply by his loving wife of 50 years Sirkka, his two favorite daughters Sari Gregorchuk (Harry) and Sanna Pino (Tavis). His grandchildren Madyn (Pappa's baby) and Zander (Pappa's little army man). His sisters Leena Annala and Merja Vilhunen. Deceased by his sister Raili and brother Jyrki. Mourned also by his nieces and nephews Jari, (Minna), Sirpa, Hanna, Pia (Gary) and Terjo. Fondly remembered by many great nieces and nephews.
Family meant everything to Jarmo, he had a strong love for them and loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts. A small family gathering was held on July 29th, in London Ontario. Donations in his memory can be made to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
