(March 18, 1954 – March 14, 2017) – Surrounded by her family, Brenda Weeks peacefully was reunited with her son at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 62. Beloved wife and expert fishing partner of Len Bailey. Adored mother of the late Travis Turcotte (Megan) and Amy Turcotte (Dave Wright). Loving step-mother of Ryan Bailey (Irene), Dan Bailey (Laura), Laurel Gelinas (Chris) and Karen Hudson (Scott). Cherished Grandma/Grammy of Kayla, Kailyana, Rylan, Ehren, Evan, Jack, Dylan, Sophia and Lauren. Devoted Mom of her fur babies Charlie and Susie. Daughter of Genevieve Lacroix (nee Rooley) and the late Morris A. Weeks. Dear sister of Chuck Weeks (Barbara), Donna Weeks, Gary Weeks (Lori), Calvin Weeks (Mary) and Roger Lacroix (Sandra Greef). Special extended family member of Thomas Turcotte, Catherine Turcotte, Rocky Scullino (Genny), Keith Descoteaux, Angie Sweeney and many others. Special aunt of her nieces, nephews and loved by many friends and community members, including her Edward Jones clients and colleagues. Brenda’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the ICU department at the Sault Area Hospital. A private family service will be held.
