WEMIGWANS, Jeanne Rita

May 3, 1930 – October 6, 2016 — Peacefully with family by her side at the North Shore Health Network, Blind River on Thursday October 6, 2016.  Rita Wemigwans in her 87th year, beloved wife of The Late Isadore Wemigwans.  Loving mother of Jackie Moore of Houston, Texas, Joanne Little ( Nathan ) of Grand Rapids Michigan, Wilfred Wemigwans ( Glenda ) of Wikwemikong, Barbara Shenoskey, Corrine “Corky” Roberts ( Larry ) and Gerald James Wemigwans all of Grand Rapids Michigan, Robert Recollet of Blind River and the late Tom Wemigwans.  Special Grandmother, Great Grand Mother and Great Great Grandmother to numerous grandchildren.  Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Josephine Wagoosh and six brothers and sisters.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was devoted to her family and friends and will be remembered for her love of The Lord.   Friends and family are invited to gather at the All Tribes Mission, Mississauga First Nation on Tuesday October 10, 2016 at 1pm for a celebration of Rita’s life.  Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Ontario.
