It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Allan White on May 25, 2025, at the age of 63.
Allan was the proud and loving father of Stephanie (Justin) and Spencer (Brittany), and a cherished grandfather to Marlowe and another little blessing soon to arrive. He was the beloved son of Rita and the late Cyril White, and a dear brother to Paul, Blaine (late Mary), David, Robert, and Bernie.
Al was a larger-than-life personality whose presence lit up any room. He was a man of warmth, humour, and strong character and a great father who his children admired deeply.
He was passionate about sports, especially golf and hockey, and he could often be found in the garage, working on one of his many projects. Some of his favourite days were spent on the golf course with his brothers, sharing laughs and friendly competition.
Al retired as a Sergeant from the Ministry of Correctional Services, where he built lifelong friendships and countless memories. He remained close with his Corrections family and loved sharing stories from his time in service.
Al lived by the words: “Life’s all about balance.” He embodied that philosophy in the way he worked, played, and loved. Always striving to enjoy the moment while being there for the people who mattered most.
Allan will be remembered for his kindness, energy, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
As per the family’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
