WHITTOM, Ivan (Yvon)

At the General Hospital on Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Olga Whittom (nee Schiratti). Dear son of the late Malvina and Albert Whittom of Gaspe, Quebec. Brother of late Albert Huard (late Celine), late Leonard (late Rose), Mary Tousignant (late Bill), Evelyn Lemelin (late Marcel) and the late Eugene (late Doris). Son-in-law of the late Amabile and Giuseppe Schiratti. Brother-in-law of late Helen O’Brien (late Jack), late Erma McHugh (late Ed), Ermo Schiratti (Elia), Rose Solomon (late George) and the late Mary Murphy (late John). Ivan was a very generous and fun loving uncle of 24 nieces and nephews and a great uncle of many. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, November 10, 2003 at 1 pm with Reverend Norman Fortier officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
