Surrounded by family, David passed into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in his 67th year. David had a great love for airplanes, cooking, fishing, hunting, gardening, pets and feeding the birds and squirrels. But his greatest love was his family. Predeceased by his parents the late Bassett and Edna Wilson. David is survived by his wife Julie, son William (Billy), sister Judy (Watts), nephew Kenneth (Watts) and many cousins. A sincere thank you to all who contributed to David’s medical care over many years. A special thank you to the Medical/Surgical units and the Critical Care unit at the Sault Area Hospital during his recent illness. A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held at Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle (306 McNabb Street) on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:30 am. Pastor Benny Kjiersdam officiating. Visitation with the family from 10:30 am until the time of service. Interment took place at Greenwood Cemetery on March 16, 2017. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (II Timothy 4:7).
