Peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at the age of 76.
Born to Alfred and Amelia Daigle. Loving spouse of the late Charles Keith Wilson. Daughter in law of Charles and Meda Wilson. Cherished mother of Christopher (Joanne) and Kevin (Penelope). Adored Nana and Namie of Zachary, Brett, Logan, Keesha and Sydney. Great-Namie of Bennett, Haven and Hartley. Forever remembered by her sister Marlene (Jeff). Predeceased by her siblings Brian (Edith), Gwendolyn, Alfred (Carol), Caroline (Clayton), and Richard (Rose). Sister-in-law of Linda and Sallee (George). She will be deeply missed by her furry companion Bella. Phyllis will be missed by many many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family.
Phyllis had a strong love for animals, she rescued many over her lifetime. She was able to spend the last few months of her journey surrounded by her close family, friends and her dog Bella. She was a strong and faithful Roman Catholic, she was proud of her faith.
The family would like to thank the staff at A.R.C.H for all their care and compassion at this time. They would also like to thank Dr. Rassouli, his nurse Jen and the rest of the staff at the SAH - Cancer Clinic. As well as an extended thank you to her nurse Cathy.
Family and Friends are welcome to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Sunday September 1, 2024 for a time of visitation from 1 pm - 3 pm. Service at 3:15 pm with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers a donation by cheque or online the the SAHF - Renal Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
