WITTY, Doreen Marie (Dobson)

(1939-2016) - With family and friends by her side, at Extendicare Maple View on November 22, 2016 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Witty. Cherished mother of Debbie Palahnuk (Tim). Adored grandmother to Nicki and Mike. Sister to Norman Dobson (Shirley), Jack Dobson, and pre-deceased by Gordon Dobson (Georgina), Bun Dobson (Gladys), Jess Dobson (Doreen), Myrtle Royer (Henry), and Jean Jondreau. She was aunt and great-aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Friend to many on Manitoulin Island. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Interment will take place at Gordon Township Cemetery, Manitoulin Island later.
