Karen Veronica Zeppa Coyne, beloved wife of John Coyne, cherished mother of daughters Laura, Heather, and Annie (deceased), and daughter of Anne and the late Joseph Zeppa, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon July 30th with her family at her side. She is survived by her, sisters Cathy (Reg Beaudette), Joanne (Jack Potvin) and Linda, brothers Joe (Lisa) and Steve (Emmie), and their families.
A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Karen was loved and admired for her generous spirit and guiding presence; her life’s journey touched many. Always optimistic and hopeful, Karen’s kindness, grace, dignity, courage, and strong love of family and friends are an inspiration to us all. She will be deeply missed.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto (1-800-616-3311) from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th.
We will celebrate Karen’s life at her funeral on Thursday, August 10th in LEASIDE UNITED CHURCH, 822 Millwood Road, Toronto at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at the church.
