(1935 - 2025)

It is with profound sadness, that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert at his home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, just two short weeks after celebrating his 90th Birthday.

Beloved husband of Doreen Zorzi (nee Fisher) for 66 years. Cherished father of Raymond Zorzi (Kitty), Roberta Stevenson (Todd) and William Zorzi (Darleen). Adored grandpa of Joshua, Tyler, Jarrett, Samantha (Gord), Phylicia (Chris), Skye-Lee and Logan and numerous great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Eli and Lilian Zorzi. Loved brother of Eva Brooks (late Jack), Doreen Johnson (late Kenny), Jerry Zorzi (late Judy), Peter Zorzi (Terry), late William, late John and the late Barbara. Brother-in-law of Lucille Zorzi. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

We will miss him dearly, his laughter, his jokes and his stories. Our dad loved life, always learning new things, fixing things, building things and of course fishing. He really loved fishing! He followed his dreams and built an airplane and also the house that we all called home. He lived on the same street for 89 out of his 90 years and during that process met so many people that loved him. Bob was a man who thoroughly enjoyed life and retirement. Bob was a very hard worker and always strived to learn something new, which is a characteristic that he passed on to all of his children and all that knew him. He could always be found with a smile on his face and repairing, building or fixing something.

Bob was a good husband, the best dad ever, a great father-in-law, good brother/brother-in-law to his family, grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend to all. We'll all miss your smile. You are gone but will continue to live on forever in our hearts. You lived a blessed, long life; now may you find even more happiness as you reunite with your family and friends in heaven.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until Funeral Service in the chapel at 12:00 Noon.

Memorial donations to the F.J. Davey Home or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
