UPDATE:
The collision that closed Highway 17 north of the Sault has been cleared, according to the Ontario511 info service.
The closure was cleared at around 3:45 p.m.
EARLIER REPORT:
A collision north of the Sault has closed Highway 17 this afternoon.
The province's traffic information service Ontario511 issued an advisory around 2:30 p.m. stating the highway was closed in both directions between Heyden and Wawa.
(A second advisory was issued around 2:45 p.m. stating there is a closure between Batchawana Bay and Wawa. That collision has since been cleared.)
